What you'll be doing?

The Social Media Assistant will be able to support the Social Media Manager to build content and create media assets to achieve the vision of the social media strategy and complement marketing activities. This Social Media Assistant role includes:

  • The Social Media Assistant will write copy, create visual assets and schedule social media posts.
  • Supporting with day-to-day social media management and engagement.
  • Ensuring all Marketing generated data is managed legally and appropriately.
  • Managing the expectations of projects and working to a deadline.
  • Contributing ideas to the wider team to support the set strategy.
  • Keeping on top of sector trends and developing relationships with customers when marketing opportunities arise.
  • Supporting and collaborating with the wider marketing function across a number of projects.



What we're looking for?

  • Someone with a passion for social media, who likes to stay on top of trends and understands the differences between social media channels.
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to write for a range of audiences.
  • Good time management and organisational skills, with the ability to work to a tight deadline.
  • Knowledge and experience of software such as Canva would be advantageous.
  • An individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who is confident talking to stakeholders from across the business.
