Generation and delivery of Technical Publication Documents to customers, potentially including Product Manuals, Repair Manuals, User Guides, Service Bulletins, CMM’s, Service Letters, Temporary Revisions and Service ManualsnAct as the point of contact for customers and technical authorities for all technical documentation queriesnDevelop and manage publishing software tools required by the business

Main Responsibilities:

Meeting the requirements of applicable ATA specificationsnAuthoring and publishing documentation to high standards that serve the customer’s needs to service and maintain the companies range of productsnWork with design data and guidance materials to produce quality and compliant documentationnTake responsibility of progress of technical publications documentations against project plan(s) to ensure documentations are available when expected and required by the customernTo ensure existing CMM’s are maintained, revision controlled and communicated with customers in a timely manner.nBuild strong relationships both internally and externally with all relevant parties including but not limited to engineering, production, quality assurance, customers, suppliers, aircraft manufacturers, external (A)DOA organisationsnUnderstand the product limitations based on airworthiness, certification basis and/or design, and ensure the documentations generated are a true representation of these limitations

Key Experience Requirements:

Ideally educated to a minimum HNC / HND level in a technical / engineering disciplinenPrevious experience working as a Technical Publications Engineer, ideally within an Aerospace / Aviation environmentnPrevious experience of authoring product publication with both Mechanical & Electrical ComponentsnGood knowledge of publishing software and toolsnPrevious experience of Commercial Aviation and International Standards / Approvals and Certifications is highly desirablenPrevious Experience of ISO9001 and AS9100
