The Opportunity

We are launching a new Peer Mentor programme, and are looking for someone to oversee its successful implementation and operation.  You will liaise with our volunteer student mentors, providing guidance and support.  You will also collaborate closely with the Academic Persistence Programme staff, as the role involves assisting in achieving retention goals, monitoring engagement and coordinating activities.  You will be a student advocate, coordinating academic staff and other student relationships.  Tracking and analysing student data and preparing reports will also be part of the role.

About You:

We are looking for someone who embodies high energy, positivity, and enthusiasm, with a strong commitment to student success and higher education. You will be action-oriented and detail-oriented, proficient in data management and troubleshooting student issues using various resources.

You will be used to fast-paced environments, possess exceptional problem-solving skills, and have experience managing events. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Previous experience in supporting students, handling complaints, and utilising CRMs and student records databases is preferred, along with knowledge of data protection principles and student development theory.
