Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Restructuring and Insolvency Associate to join our dynamic team in London. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of national and cross-border restructuring and insolvency matters, advising clients across various industry sectors. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious lawyer to take on a challenging role and contribute to the success of our clients and our firm.
Key Responsibilities:nAssist in advising clients on all aspects of financial restructuring and insolvency matters, including debt restructuring, distressed M&A, insolvency proceedings, and creditor negotiations.nConduct legal research, draft legal documents, and prepare client memoranda and presentations under the guidance of senior team members.nCollaborate closely with clients, stakeholders, and other professionals to develop and implement innovative solutions to maximize stakeholder value.nAssist in managing complex, high-value restructuring transactions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.nStay abreast of legal developments, industry trends, and market dynamics affecting restructuring and insolvency matters, and provide proactive guidance to clients and colleagues.
Requirements:nUK Qualified solicitor with 2-4 years of post-qualification experience in restructuring and insolvency law, preferably gained at a reputable law firm or in-house legal department.nStrong academic background with a focus on finance, restructuring, or insolvency law.nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.nExperience working on national and cross-border restructuring transactions, with a solid understanding of relevant legal principles and industry practices.nDemonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality work under pressure.
