Clearance: Ideally security-cleared (any level considered) Start Date: ASAP Contract: Outside IR35 Overview We are seeking an experienced OpenShift Consultant to support the implementation of a new on-premises OpenShift environment within our data centre. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience delivering multiple OpenShift deployments in on-prem or data-centre environments, with a solid understanding of infrastructure, networking, and security considerations - Must have had previously experience in Openshift intall in on-prem to be considered. Key Responsibilities Lead the installation, configuration, and validation of a new OpenShift on-prem environment Work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth, successful deployment Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting, and best-practice recommendations Support integration with existing systems, including networking, storage, and security Produce documentation as required to support ongoing operations Assist with knowledge transfer to internal staff Essential Experience Demonstrable experience delivering on-prem OpenShift installations (not exclusively cloud-based experience, this project is on-prem) Strong background in container platforms, Kubernetes, Linux, and automation Good understanding of data-centre networking, storage platforms, firewalls, and load balancing Ability to troubleshoot complex issues under time constraints Clear communication and stakeholder engagement skills Security clearance (current or lapsed) highly desirable
