Plant and Vehicle Marshall experience
Your role as aPlant and Vehicle Marshall will be based in Plymouth and will consist of:
Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Direct and control the movement of vehicles entering and exiting the site.
Ensure that vehicles and pedestrians follow site safety rules and regulations.
Implement traffic management plans to minimize disruption and maximize safety.
Conduct regular safety checks and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
Implement and enforce safety measures to protect site workers, visitors, and the public.
Use appropriate signage, barriers, and other tools to manage traffic flow safely.
Communicate clearly with drivers, site personnel, and pedestrians using hand signals, radios, or other communication devices.
Provide instructions and guidance to ensure the safe and efficient movement of vehicles and pedestrians.
Act as a point of contact for any traffic-related queries or concerns.
Maintain accurate records of traffic movements, incidents, and safety checks.
Ensure all relevant documentation is completed and filed as required.
Report any incidents, near-misses, or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Based in Plymouth remuneration for this role is£16.41 Per Hour, you will accrue holiday entitlement and be eligible to join the VGC pension scheme once certain criteria have been met.
