As the Head of Account Management, you'll be the driving force behind a truly dedicated and collaborative team of Account Managers, leading by example and inspiring excellence every step of the way. From mentoring and coaching to strategic planning and relationship-building, you'll do it all. Your role will be to drive performance and provide leadership to deliver on the sales budget, with full P&L responsibility. Alongside this, you will be the face of the business, leading by example to support the team on key customer visits, with some national and international travel required.

Key Responsibilities of the Head of Account Management:
Sales Team Leadership (50%): You will be an inspirational leader responsible for driving continued success, guiding the team in their consistent expansion of product portfolios and growth of the existing customer base. You will do this through various governance processes, driving motivational selling within the team, and have full accountability for delivery of the sales budget.
Team Development (40%): You will be growth orientated, responsible for succession planning within the Sales team, identifying key talent and future leaders, whilst offering close support on performance improvements. You will do this through skills gaps analysis to highlight areas of personal development within the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and proactive involvement.
Key Account Responsibilities (10%): Leading by example you will develop and build relationships with customers, identifying growth opportunities and being accountable for achieving customer budgets.About You:
We are looking for an experienced people leader who fosters collaboration, continuous improvement and a can-do, proactive mentality. You are enthusiastic and positive, offering a unique and 'think outside the box' approach to succeed in a truly innovative and growth-oriented business.
Skills and Experience Required:
We are looking for a minimum of 5+ years proven leadership experience in managing account management or sales teams, with demonstrable examples of driving growth and results through coaching, leading, and mentoring.
Ideally, you will come from a Product or Brand led background, however the right person is key and the focus of this recruit.
You will have a passion for customer excellence, exceeding expectations, and delivering exceptional service, and driving this attitude within the team.
You are dedicated to developing and championing a positive Sales culture with a passion for leading and coaching.
You will be an adaptable and professional communicator, able to work cross-functionally whether that's presenting to the SLT or working alongside the production team.
Experience managing sales budgets, monitoring KPIs, and driving results.
