The PM Manager is responsible for ensuring the effective working of their team over the course of a shift ensuring metrics & KPI’s are achieved.

PM shift of 2PM-10PM Monday to FridaynSalary- £26,000
The successful Candidate will:nManage any failures in a day and ensure delivery to the customer within the booked slot.nEnsure resource including 3rd party agency workers is planned & managed and inducted in line with flex in volume and budgeted costs.nEnsure all vehicles are compliant with DVSA guidelines, Working time directives, tacho downloads, servicing and tyre checks.nEnsure vehicle, driver and load documentation is available for the journey and meets legal requirementsnComplete 5 vehicle checks per week with the drivers to ensure adherence to policynEnsure regulatory compliance of drivers in line with EU and domestic drivers hours rules, working time directive, driver licensing and driver certificate of professional competence training as applicable to the organisation.nEnsure all vehicle & transport related incidents are investigated in a timely manner and reported accordinglynBrief and debrief team members on a daily basis to provide information, advice and guidance.nMonitor and report on the day to day operational performance of the supply chainnDevelop and motivate teams to achieve expected KPI’s building the right “ can do “ depot culturenConduct appraisals for all direct reports identifying areas for development.nResponsible for the document maintenance of training and appraisals for all colleagues.nFollow internal and external audit procedures for transport and warehouse operations that relate to environmental impact, health, safety, wellbeing and regulatory compliancenIdentify opportunities to improve organisations processes and practices
Required Skills & ExperiencenProven experience of managing teams within an operations environment, preferably within the logistics industry. Experience with two-person delivery operations is advantageous.nDemonstrable knowledge of developing, motivating and training teams to achieve expected KPI’snGood knowledge and understanding of Transport legislationnFLT counterbalance essentialnKnowledge of Health & Safety and compliance in relation to warehouse/transport environmentsnIOSH preferred but not essentialnCPC preferred but not essential
