We Build Recruitment are on the lookout for a Document Controller based in the North of Wales/ Merseyside area that’s had experience with the likes of an engineering/industrial project or worked alongside Civils sites.
This will be to join one of the leading design and build companies in the North West that have an incredibly strong interiors arm to the business and have recently won a package on a large project in North Wales.
This role is largely site based but may require the occasional visit to the office which is near Wigan.
The day rate on offer is currently relatively flexible and naturally it will be in alignment with your own experience. A rough guideline for the Document Controller position is £200 - £250 a day.
Job Role:
* Maintain control over all site-related documentation.
* Organise and manage document workflows, ensuring timely distribution and retrieval of documents.
* Act as the first point of contact for visitors and on-site personnel.
* Facilitate communication between the site office and other departments, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
* Assist in scheduling meetings, site visits, and inspections.
* Coordinate deliveries and on-site logistics to ensure minimal disruption to site activities.
* Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards.
* Manage office supplies and equipment, ensuring they are adequately stocked and maintained.
* Coordinate the provision of facilities and services required by site personnel.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Previous experience as a Document controller or relevant experience as a Site Administrator
* CSCS card is preferential
* Previous experience on a construction site similar to an engineer/industrial project or civils based
* Experienced with the Microsoft Suite at a minimum.
