AV Service Engineer
Are you an experienced Field Service Engineer looking for a dynamic and varied role? Join our client's team and take the next step in your career
You might come from servicing vending machines, medical equipment, PCB repairs, our client is willing to train you in the art of the digital signage industry, the one thing you must have in service experience. You must be used to long hours and being out on the road, but you are paid door to door so you are rewarded for this effort
On-Site Duties:
Travel to client sites as required
Replace DMB equipment, both internally and externally
Perform fault finding and resolution
Report back to the service and maintenance team
Warehouse Duties:
Receive and ship deliveries on an ad hoc basis
Regularly check stock and maintain stock levels
Prepare outgoing job kits and ensure kits are available for engineers to collect
Conduct nominal inventory of full warehouse stock
Maintain the general upkeep of the warehouse spaceCandidate Specification:
Proven experience in a similar role working to strict SLAs
Experience in a field-based engineering role across multiple site locations
Proficient in using power tools and hand tools
Excellent communication skills with the ability to use initiative and maintain professionalism
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Full UK Driving License
Ability to commute to Reading dailyDesired Requirements:
Experience with Digital Signage, Projectors, Video Walls, LED
Experience with warehouse responsibilities
Knowledge of AV systems
Experience with survey and specificationSkills Required:
Good PC knowledge
Excellent IT skills and knowledge of networks
CSCS/ECS Card
