The Role:
You will manage a varied residential property caseload, dealing with all aspects of the conveyancing transaction using the industry’s leading Case Management system.
The role would suit someone who has experience managing a mixed sale and purchase caseload of freehold, leasehold, shared ownership and new build transactions.
Key Responsibilities
Manage own caseload, monitoring and delivering fully against personal targetsnIndependently establish priorities and manage deadlinesnProactively and efficiently manage transaction, whilst managing Client expectationnResponsible for file from opening through to completion, ensuring that all files are maintained in good order in compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) and in accordance with regulatory and statutory requirementsnProvide clients with legal advice relevant to their cases, recording the advice and representing the best interests of the client in the transactionnTaking instructions from clients and drafting the necessary legal documents and contracts for each casenProactively deal with the other side solicitors, mortgage lenders, brokers, clients and local authoritiesnDeal with complex enquiries, researching previous cases and relevant laws so as to provide accurate advicenRecognise potential risks and resolve issues without putting the client or business at risknComply at all times with the Solicitors Regulation Authorities RulesnEnsure that all files are billed correctly with the appropriate fees and on completion funds are sent to the correct placenProvide supervision, support and coaching to ParalegalsnOptimise the client experience through use of our conveyancing systems and technologynProvide an exceptional service both to the client but also to introducers and third partiesnDevelop a culture of teamwork and high performance with a strong focus on customer care.
Person Specification
At least 3+ years’ experience managing a residential property portfolio of cases from inception to completionnExperience in New Build and Shared Ownership essentialnThorough understanding of various property lawsnCommercial awareness, keeping up to date with business and industry newsnResilience with the ability to work effectively under pressure and to strict deadlinesnStrong problem-solving skills, an analytical approach to come to the best legal solutions.nAttention to detail, extremely accurate in research and in the drafting of documents.nEnthusiasm for delivering a high level of customer servicenEnthusiastic team-player and natural self-starter able to work on own initiativenAbility to be flexible and empathetic to deliver client needs
Salary will be up to £50k dependent on experience with hybrid working allowance and bonus package.
