The Legislation & Certification Engineer role primarily focuses on:
Lead the UK IVA and TfL process to approve products in the UK, supporting Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality to ensure product compliance and approvals are consistently achieved.
Liaise with and co-ordinate the work of external agencies, including Technical Services, Type Approval Authorities, government bodies and engineering service providers.
Advise and support others regarding legislative and market requirements and procedures.
Investigate new areas of L&C knowledge and practice, communicating effectively with external agencies and internal stakeholders.The successful Legislation & Certification Engineer must have the following skills and experience:
Legislation and Certification experience in automotive, commercial vehicle or similar industry.
Transport for London regulations knowledge
Degree level education or equivalent experience in an engineering field, e.g. Automotive, Mechanical, Electrical.
Excellent communication skills to interact with all functions and levels of the business.
Ability to lead projects and work independently.We’re looking to speak with suitable Legislation & Certification Engineer candidates as soon as possible.
