Warheouse Operative

Here at **GXO**, we’re recruiting for **Warehouse Operatives **to join the team based at **Sherburn in Elmet.**

This is a **full-time,** **permanent** position, **40.15 **hours per week - 11.5 hours per shift - working **days and nights** on a **4 on, 4 off** shift pattern. The day shift pattern **is 07:00-19:00** and night shift pattern is **19:00-07:00.**

**What you’ll do on a typical day**:

- You will be working on either red or blue shift. Each of which have a range of departments which covers all warehousing disciplines including returns
- Meet and exceed the productivity standards for your department
- Able to listen and react to verbal and written instructions to complete individual and team tasks
- Undertaking a variety of work which has set processes or procedures that must be followed every time, to ensure compliance
- Supporting the management with any other related tasks

**What you need to succeed at GXO**:

- Previous experience of working within a warehouse environment
- Good IT skills
- Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
- Able to work on your own and as part as a team
- Maintaining Health and Safety in the workplace

**Experience**:

- Warehouse experience: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
