We are now recruiting a forward-thinking Maintenance Manager to join us from January, playing a key leadership role in shaping both hotels from pre-opening to full operation. The Role This is an exciting opportunity to step into a management role at the very beginning of a major new development. As Maintenance Manager, you will: Lead the maintenance function across both hotels Support pre-opening activities including snagging, commissioning, asset lists, and contractor coordination Implement Marriott engineering and safety standards to ensure full compliance Build and develop a skilled maintenance team that reflects our commitment to Talent and Growth Champion Knowledge through structured preventative maintenance and best-practice engineering Promote a safe, inclusive work environment aligned with our value of Diversity Ensure statutory, H&S, fire safety, water safety, electrical and mechanical compliance Work collaboratively with the General Manager, DGM, and project teams throughout the opening phase About You We’re seeking a Maintenance professional who brings: Hotel or multi-site facilities experience Strong understanding of compliance and safety Confidence managing contractors, systems, and pre-opening processes A hands-on approach with excellent organisation and follow-through Leadership ability to grow and motivate a small engineering team A mindset aligned with our Four Pillars — developing Talent, sharing Knowledge, championing Diversity, and driving Growth If you want to make your mark on a major new hotel opening, this is an exceptional opportunity.
