Basic Salary subject to experience circa £25-28,000 per annum

On Target Earnings: Overtime, Travel Time, etc circa £45,000

Our Passive Fire Engineers

Our Passive Fire Team install components and systems that slows and/or impedes the spread of the effects of fire or smoke. Our Passive Systems include: floor-ceilings and roofs, fire doors, windows, and wall assemblies, fire-resistant coatings, and other fire and smoke control assemblies.

  • Install and supervise Passive Fire Installations in accordance with the latest British and EN standards on small and large projects, ensuring all works are within Health & safety and quality company requirements.
  • Ensuring Fire Stopping installation is carried out to current industrial standards.
  • Ensure project are delivered on time.
  • Ensure project is on programme.
  • Provide technical expertise as required on projects as required
  • Assist with development of risk assessments and method statements
  • Deliver regular updates on reporting programs such as Bolster / Plan Radar

Who We’re Looking For

In addition to having all the usual attributes of a great Marlowe Fire & Security employee, such as; a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, well presented and professional at all times, ability to work alone and as part of a team….. For this opportunity, we are specifically looking for candidates who offer:

  • At least 3 years working as a Passive Fire Installation Engineer
  • Have a minimum of GNVQ LEVEL 2 Fire stopping
  • An understanding of the British Standards & EN covering the areas of work
  • Self motivated, flexible, able to work away from home when required
  • Ability to communicate progress with customer
