You will help us develop and execute strategic marketing campaigns, refine our brand positioning, and improve engagement with our target audiences.What difference will you make? Amplifying Voices of Marginalised Communities By crafting and executing strategic marketing campaigns, you will help raise awareness of the stories of marginalised groups and individuals who may not have a platform elsewhere. Expanding the Organisation's Reach and Influence With your marketing expertise, you will play a key role in expanding the reach of Connecting Stories' programmes, events, and initiatives. Supporting Community Engagement and Advocacy You will help design and implement campaigns that will drive increased participation in Connecting Stories’ initiatives, whether through attending events, engaging with content online, or supporting fundraising campaigns. Strengthening Brand and Messaging Consistency You will ensure that Connecting Stories’ messaging is clear, consistent, and compelling across all channels. Building Partnerships for Long-Term Impact You will help establish strategic partnerships that will create new opportunities for collaboration, resource-sharing, and funding. Contributing to Positive Social Change Your work will not just promote a brand—it will promote a cause that challenges narratives, sparks conversations, and inspires action for a better future. What are we looking for?What We Are Looking ForWe are seeking a skilled and committed Marketing Lead who can drive the visibility, growth, and engagement efforts of Connecting Stories CIC. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of strategic thinking, hands-on execution, and genuine passion for social impact.Experience5+ years of marketing experience, with strong expertise in both digital and traditional marketing Experience developing and executing marketing campaigns, including content creation, social media, email marketing, and paid media Previous experience with nonprofit or cause-driven marketing is an added advantage SkillsExcellent content creation abilities—writing, editing, and producing content across blogs, newsletters, social media, press releases, and promotional materials Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, analytics tools, and best practices Ability to shape and maintain a clear, consistent brand voice across multiple channels Proficiency in digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, email marketing platforms, and social media insights Personal Qualities Strategic mindset with the ability to translate ideas into actionable marketing plans Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Strong communicator and collaborator, able to work well with diverse teams Deep passion for social impact, storytelling, and empowering communities through meaningful marketing efforts Availability & Commitment RequirementWe require volunteers who can commit adequate time, follow through on assigned tasks, and remain actively engaged throughout their involvement .Before applying, please ensure that You can commit a minimum of 1–3 hours per week You are able to attend scheduled meetings, planning sessions, and team check-ins You are prepared to contribute steadily over a minimum period of 3–6 months You have the capacity to deliver assigned tasks on time with professionalism To maintain continuity and uphold programme quality, volunteers who are unable to meet these availability and engagement requirements may be discontinued after the first three weeks.
