Role Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and detail-oriented Security Officer / CCTV Operator to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the security of our clients' premises using CCTV systems and physical patrols. This role is crucial in preventing and responding to security incidents, ensuring the safety of individuals and property.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor CCTV cameras to identify and respond to suspicious activities.
* Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure a secure environment.
* Control access to the premises, verifying credentials and authorizations.
* Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, coordinating with emergency services when necessary.
* Maintain detailed logs and reports of all activities and incidents.
* Provide excellent customer service to clients, visitors, and staff.
* Ensure all security equipment is functioning properly and report any malfunctions.
* Follow all company protocols and procedures to maintain a high standard of security
Qualifications
* Full driving licence
* Proven experience as a Security Officer or CCTV Operator.
* SIA (Security Industry Authority) license is essential.
* Excellent observational skills with a keen attention to detail.
* Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in emergency situations.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Basic computer skills, including familiarity with CCTV systems and software.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
* A strong sense of integrity and responsibility.
