Role and responsibilities:
The Assurance Services Manager is responsible for managing a high level of customer satisfaction through accurate and effective service delivery to a portfolio of clients or tasks assigned to them and their team and is delivered to clients in a consistent, accurate and timely manner meeting internal and external SLA’s.
A key objective of this role is to ensure that the highest level of service is provided to clients, while efficiently managing a team of analysts and assistants. People and culture are an essential aspect of this role. The Assurance Services Manager will support and develop the team to ensure they are motivated and productive, which will result in excellent customer service.
The successful candidate's responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
* Lead and nurture a team of Assurance Services Analysts to ensure the service is effective and consistent thereby ensuring client retention levels are high and income protection is secure
* Continually monitor and evaluate business services, systems and processes with a view to recommend improvements consistent with a growing division & business
* Efficiently manage a team of Assurance Services Analysts, timetabling of staff including holidays and sick cover ensuring adequate cover for the team
* Liaise with HR and Management in relation to team development needs, salary/bonus reviews and personal circumstances
* Obtain invoices and data in a timely manner in readiness for client reports
* Estate management
* Sales processing on the CRM
* Pricing and tendering
* Ensure data completeness for client portfolios
* Liaise with colleagues and suppliers to ensure CRM system is maintained accurately
* Liaise with suppliers to obtain information and resolve queries
Experience and Qualifications:
Essential
* Experience of working in the energy/utility industry and knowledge of supplier processes
* Ability to delegate to empower employees, helping them to reach personal and professional goals
* Strong planning, prioritisation and organisational skills and familiar with working in a fast paced dynamic environment
* Computer literate with strong MS Office (particularly excel), MS Outlook, Bill Validation systems and CRM systems
* Ability to identify client needs, build rapport and deliver service excellence
Desirable
* Higher level of qualification relevant to the position, educated to a degree level or qualified through experience.
* Experience of managing teams
* Experience of Public Services clients
