Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented SEN Caseworker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating support for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), ensuring that each child receives the appropriate educational support and services tailored to their individual needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of children with SEN, coordinating their educational support and services.
Develop and maintain detailed case files, including assessments, support plans, and progress reports.
Liaise with families, schools, and external agencies to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Conduct regular reviews and update support plans as necessary to meet the evolving needs of the children.
Advocate for the needs and rights of children with SEN, ensuring their voices are heard in decision-making processes.
Provide guidance and support to families navigating the SEN system.Qualifications:
Relevant qualifications in education or social care (e.g., degree in Special Education, Social Work, or related field).
Experience in case management for children with SEN.
Strong knowledge of SEN legislation, policies, and procedures.
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
