TeacherActive are proud to be working with a Primary school in the Mountain Ash area. The school we are working with provides a high standard of education and focus on a happy, safe and pleasant environment for their pupils to thrive in. They are looking for a Teaching Assistant with additional learning skills to support children with autism in a brand new specialist resource base setting. The school believe in well being for both its staff and children alike with a real community ethos throughout the school. The role will be working Mon - Fri 08:30 - 15:30 and will be a long term on-going role for the full academic year.
Our schools are looking for individuals that are keen team players who can support and assist their children in reaching their full potential. We are looking full time teaching assistant staff who can be kind, caring and nurturing to the children’s needs.
The successful Teaching Assistant will have:
Prior teaching experience, especially with children within nursery, primary or secondary settings.
Experience in classroom management.
Excellent experience of ALN in either group settings or on a 1:1 basis
