Vision for Education are recruiting for Teacher of Drama & Performing Arts for a secondary school based in Preston to start September 2024.
About the role
The role
The successful candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status in the UK and experience of teaching Drama & Performing Arts at KS3 and KS4 level.
This role will start September 2024 and will be covering a maternity for the full academic year. There may also be a requirement to teach some Key Stage 3 English classes, but support and resources would be provided.
This drama role will have a reduced timetable, so may expect to assist with covering some Key Stage 3 Dance and English classes.

This school in Preston is situated outside the city centre in a residential setting and at the heart of its local community. The school prides itself with engaging and high level teaching where children can reach their full potential.
Requirements
To be considered for the Drama & Performing Arts Teacher role you must:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have some knowledge or previous experience of Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
Be adaptable and flexible
Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff
