Permanent Positions from day 1
Hours: NIGHTS 6PM to 6AM - Monday to Thursday
Salary: from £37,315 upwards DOE
Location of work is Wolverhampton
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
Immediate Permanent positions for experienced Metal Polishers to work within a team of polishers processing various parts predominantly for chrome and nickel finishes, with a total of ten finishes across all ranges produced.
* Responsible for polishing / linishing of parts and components to a very high quality standard
* Prepping parts and components ready for final stage polishing process
* Processing various parts for castings, turned parts, pressings & spouts for various plating finish standards
* Using various polishing and linishing machines and hand tools
* Ensure all work is undertaken in accordance with any work instructions
* Responsible for components within the polishing workshop
* Notify the team leader of consumable items that are out of stock
* Report any quality issues / concerns to the team leader
* Carry out routine maintenance when required.
* Maintain good communications and relationships
* Ensure compliance with company procedures and Health and Safety
* Maintain a clean, safe working environment and good housekeeping
* Ensure 5S standards are maintained.
Experience / Skills:
* Solid experience as a Metal Polisher within the metal industry
* Experienced in linishing and grinding aspects of polishing
* Competency with machinery and abrasive belts
