Metal Polisher

**IMMEDIATE PERMANENT POSITIONS**

**x6 EXPERIENCED METAL POLISHERS REQUIRED**

**Salary - £30,933 to £43,600 DOE**

Working Nights from 10pm to 6am Monday to Friday

**Job Summary**:
We are seeking 6 skilled and experienced Metal Polishers to join our clients team in Wolverhampton. As a Metal Polisher, you will be responsible for polishing and finishing various brass components and products. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work with precision.

**Duties**:

- Responsible for the polishing / linishing metal components to a very high standard
- Using various polishing machines and hand tools to complete the polishing and

finishing process
- Ensure all work is undertaken in accordance with work instructions / procedures
- Ensure preventative maintenance schedules are completed as required
- Inspect finished products for quality and ensure they meet specifications
- Remove imperfections, scratches and blemishes from metal surfaces
- Report any quality issues or concerns to the team leader
- Carry out routine maintenance when required.
- Responsible for components within the polishing workshop
- Notify the team leader of consumable items that are out of stock
- Maintain good communications and relationships throughout the company
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and make suggestions for improvement
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety requirements are met
- Maintain a clean, safe working environment and good housekeeping standards
- Ensure 5S standards are maintained.

**Experience / Skills**:

- Solid Metal Polishing and Linishing experience
- Experience of finishing processes
- Competency with machinery and abrasive belts
- Ability to read and understand drawings
- Ability to understand and work to tolerances
- A keen eye for detail
