ICP is looking for an experienced IT Manager with expertise in network security, cybersecurity, server management, and IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading IT teams, managing vendor relationships, and implementing IT solutions to drive business success. Key responsibilities include overseeing IT operations, ensuring data security, leading projects, and aligning IT with organizational goals. We're seeking a dynamic leader skilled in project management, governance, and IT security, who thrives in an agile environment.
This role is a hybrid role based in London reporting to the Director of Technology.
How you are going to make an impact:
Leadership & CollaborationnLead a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure the successful execution of IT projects and initiatives.nCollaborate closely with the IT Director to ensure IT initiatives resonate with broader business goals, integrating emerging technologies for a competitive edge.nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify IT needs and develop strategic solutions to support business objectives.nEvaluate, select, and manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers to ensure the delivery of high-quality IT services and solutions.nStay current on emerging technologies and trends in network security, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure to inform decision-making and drive innovation within the organization.nConduct training sessions on company IT systems, software, and procedures.nCollaborate with local country managers and functional leads to plan and manage IT infrastructure globally.nManage relationships with IT vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts, evaluating performance, and ensuring that vendors deliver high-quality products and services.
IT OperationsnProvide technical support and assistance to end users, troubleshooting issues, answering questions, and resolving problems in a timely and efficient manner.nOversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of network security and cybersecurity systems to protect company data and assets.nManage and maintain servers, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security.nMonitor and analyse IT performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimize IT operations.nEnsure the smooth operation of all IT systems and networks, monitoring performance, diagnosing and resolving issues, and implementing solutions to improve efficiency and reliability.nDevelop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.nPlan, coordinate, and oversee IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and deployments, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications.nCoordinate procurement of IT equipment and services within budgets.
IT Security and CompliancenEstablish and enforce security protocols, data protection measures, and compliance standards with the IT team.nConduct regular security assessments and audits to address vulnerabilities.nEnsure availability of well-maintained resources and plan for future needs.nMaintain accountability for services, resources, and information in line with ICP’s goals.nProvide training on GDPR and cybersecurity requirements.
What you will need (minimum qualifications)nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field and 5 years’ experience in an IT management rolenProven experience as an IT Manager or in a similar leadership role, with a successful IT project delivery track record.nStrong technical knowledge of Microsoft platform (M365 and Azure),nBroad knowledge of SaaS, PaaS, cloud technologies, automation and Ai and PowerBInDemonstrated experience in process improvement and optimising IT operations.nInnovative mindset with a passion for exploring and implementing new technologies.nExceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.nExceptional leadership capabilities with a knack for nurturing teamsnStrong communication skills, capable of interacting with various stakeholders.nExperience with governance of cyber essentials and SSL certificates.nExperience with ISO27001 and SOC2nExperience writing technical documents, processes, etc (IT Security Policy, IT Security Q&A for customers).
