As the Lead Recovery Practitioner (RGN/ODP) you can expect to:
Provide visible clinical, professional, and managerial leadership to the Recovery and Enhanced Care Unit teams, promoting a positive approach and cohesive teamwork.
Working closely with the Theatre Manager you will support the growth of the surgical services within the hospital.
You will be responsible for Managing and ensuring the provision of nursing care, maintaining high clinical standards, and be able to work in a multi-disciplinary team.To apply for this Recovery Team Leader role, you must be a qualified RGN (with current NMC registration) or ODP (with current HCPC registration) with previous experience as a Lead Theatre Practitioner. We also welcome applications from experienced Deputy Theatre Team Leads and Theatre Sister/Charge Nurses looking to step up into a management role. Experience working within Orthopaedics is essential. Experience within theatre recovery is also essential. Exposure working within an Enhanced Care Unit is desirable but not essential. To achieve the top end of the salary you must have private hospital experience.
