As the Deputy Lead Recovery Practitioner (RGN/ODP) you can expect to:
Collaboratively assist in assessment, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care in the operating theatre department.
Ensure the provision of nursing care, maintain high clinical standards, and be able to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
Deputise in the absence of the Lead Practitioner.To apply for this Deputy Recovery Team Leader role, you must be a qualified RGN (with current NMC registration) or ODP (with current HCPC registration) with previous experience as a Deputy Lead Theatre Practitioner. We also welcome applications from experienced Senior Recovery Nurses looking to step up into a leadership role. Experience working within Orthopaedics is essential. Experience within theatre recovery is also essential. Exposure working within an Enhanced Care Unit is desirable but not essential. To achieve the top end of the salary you must have private hospital experience.
