A leading construction and engineering firm, renowned for delivering high-quality building services projects across various sectors—such as education, healthcare, commercial, and residential—is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Project Manager. The role is for an exciting commercial Shell & Core project located in Oxford. Currently in the early pre-construction stage, this project is expected to be completed by the summer of 2026. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the planning, coordination, and execution of the mechanical aspects of this significant development.

Responsibilities:
Oversee the planning and coordination of mechanical services, ensuring alignment with the overall project timeline and objectives.
Participate in the design development, cost planning, and scheduling during the pre-construction phase.
Supervise and manage both direct and subcontracted labor, ensuring adherence to schedules, plans, and quality standards.
Implement and maintain site Health & Safety protocols, ensuring Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMs) are current, relevant, and task-specific.
Liaise with clients, principal contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure effective communication.
Ensure high standards of workmanship and quality control throughout the project.
Manage stock control and pre-order necessary materials and fittings to minimise downtime.
Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including QA/Snag packs, test sheets, and results for Operations and Maintenance (O&M) manuals.
Collaborate with all trades to minimise oversights and disruptions, ensuring smooth workflow.
