Working Hours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Salary: £13.07 - £16.00 
Start Date: September - Early October
About Us: We are looking for a caretaker for a welcoming primary school located in Erdington, Birmingham. The school is dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for our students. We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Caretaker to join their dedicated team.
Role and Responsibilities: As a Caretaker, you will be responsible for ensuring the school premises are maintained to a high standard. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
Opening and closing the school daily
Performing general maintenance and minor repairs
Ensuring the safety and cleanliness of the school grounds
Managing security systems and responding to alarms
Overseeing contractors and deliveries
Supporting the school staff with various tasks as needed
Key Requirements:
Previous experience as a Caretaker or Site Manager in a school setting is essential
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Strong practical skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to respond to emergencies outside of regular working hours if necessary
Must be able to provide two recent employee referees
Must pass a Criminal Conviction Check
