Boden Group are partnered with an excellent and rapidly growing global Data Centre developer who are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join their expanding team. This is to lead £35m worth of projects and work closely with various stakeholders - including working closely with their FM service provider.

Main responsibilitiesnBusiness ManagementnEnsure compliance, identify and manage the financial and commercial risks and opportunities with all obligations and continuously be alert to new issues and their financial and commercial impactnControl and communicate expenditure and maximise incomenReview all contractual agreements and funding arrangements to ensure that obligations are recorded and monitored in line with company policies and proceduresnWork with the operational team to manage the financial and commercial aspects of the project, including variations, lifecycle expenditure, benchmarking, market testing, ensure that funds are being expended in line with the relevant contractual documentsnRegularly review the risk register and ensure mitigating actions are completed in conjunction with the management teamnSet-up and implement financial and commercial dashboards and monthly, quarterly and annual reporting of area of responsibilitynBe responsible for the management and completion of the billing processes, management and working capital for the project and support finance colleagues as and when required Lead on negotiation and resolution of commercial claimsnContribute to the production delivery and agree budgets, forecasts and monthly Profit and Loss

Qualifications and experience requirednDegree qualified (desirable) / professional qualificationsnMember of relevant industry body e.g. RICS, IWFM, IFMA, CIPSnExperience in establishing, managing and leading a large project/ service contract and/ or multiple smaller projects/ service contractsnContract negotiation with a value in excess of €5mnExperience in dispute and claims resolution both with the client and supply chainnExperience in developing, interpreting and managing complex KPI/ SLA models in service contractsnExperience in the application of complex payment mechanisms and financial/ contract reportingnData centre sector and facilities management experience (highly desirable)nCommercially focused with a proven track record of delivering high quality results whilst maintaining positive relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholdersnAbility to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced regional and global businessnProactive, diligent, able and willing to think ahead Ability to understand the wider picture whilst devoting attention to detailnAccurate with figures and reports, proficient analytical skills and a measured approach to decision makingnVendor appraisal, comprehensive understanding of procurement and tendering processes and building external supplier relationshipsnExperience operating client side (highly desirable)
