Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored support to SEN children, fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and adapting activities to meet the needs of each child.
Support classroom teachers in managing and organizing activities, ensuring a positive and engaging learning experience.
Monitor and record the progress of SEN children, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
Create a safe and supportive environment that encourages social, emotional, and academic growth.
Work collaboratively with school staff and other professionals to support the overall development of SEN students.
Requirements:
Proven experience working with SEN children in an educational setting.
Ability to provide effective one-on-one support to SEN children.
An enhanced DBS check on the update service through Aspire People is mandatory.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to supporting children with diverse needs.
Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support is highly desirable.
