Job responsibilities


The Treasury Operations Analyst will be responsible for performing daily reconciliations, to support Zing’s expansion domestically in the UK and internationally. The Treasury Operations Analyst will also support global liquidity and funding management as needed. The successful candidate will be part of a highly skilled, international team, which will be scaled up as the business grows. This is a technical role requiring specialist knowledge, as well as stakeholder management skills.


Key responsibilities include:


Running reconciliation processes covering all aspects of the firm’s activities, including both Treasury and Customer flow, to ensure the integrity of the Ledger;

Support the firm’s international expansion by ensuring reconciliation processes are robust and scalable;

Contribute to the improvement of data flow and processing from a technical perspective, cooperating with other teams as needed;

Support the development of the Safeguarding reconciliations, monitoring the firm’s position against regulatory requirements; promptly investigating and resolving breaks;

Supporting the data extraction and reconciliation process of financial and regulatory reports, including the Customer Ledger month-end closing process;

Supporting the creation, development and maintenance of appropriate reporting and MI. Interacting with stakeholders to drive process improvements and provide management with up-to-date information to inform decision making;

Create and maintain high quality, auditable process documentation;

Correctly operating the Reconciliation process controls;

Collaborate with product teams by highlighting defects detected as part of the reconciliation process;

Assist the Finance/Treasury team with other tasks as needed

Assist with Liquidity and cash management


Experience and skills required

5-8 years of relevant experience with Reconciliations and Treasury Operations at a Banking institution or a Fintech;

Highly skilled in handling large datasets. Advanced SQL;

Experience in running and maintaining reconciliation processes and documentation, investigating and resolving breaks;

Working knowledge of accounting flows;

Ability to operate cross-functionally to drive process improvements;

Highly skilled in problem solving, solution oriented, ability to work in a fast-paced environment;


Desirable experience

Knowledge of payment and FX systems highly beneficial

Knowledge of UK and international Safeguarding requirements a plus
