Senior Engineer - Highways Division

What You'll Do:
Take charge of specialised highway engineering tasks, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency are met throughout each project.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead expansion joint renewals, bearing enhanced maintenance, and bearing replacement
Oversee waterproofing of bridge decks and resurfacing projects
Manage parapet renewals, testing, and investigative work across the network
Collaborate closely with the project team to plan and execute works, primarily during night shifts
Work from the Dartford office during the day with some ad hoc site visits at night to ensure project success
What We're Looking For:
Extensive experience in highways engineering, particularly with infrastructure maintenance and repair
Relevant industry qualification (HND/HNC/BEng) and up-to-date SMSTS qualification
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Excellent organisational and communication abilities
