We have an exciting opportunity to join a Family Hub Team within Nottinghamshire. This is a great time to join our team as locally we are transforming our Children's Centre Service into Family Hub Networks. Our work with children 0-5 years remains part of our core offer and we will be expanding our service to offer 0 - 18 years.

West Mansfield Family Hub are looking to recruit to a part-time Family Support Worker, on a fixed term contract for 18 months.

You will join a committed family support team. This role will involve visiting families within their home, community venues and facilitating/supporting a variety of centre led groups and interventions.

You must have a NVQ 3 in Childcare or equivalent with experience and sound knowledge in the following areas:

Experience of safeguarding children and vulnerable adultsnExcellent knowledge of child development and awareness of the importance of early attachmentsnExperience of working in diverse communities and the ability to work in a non-discriminatory waynAwareness of the importance of working in partnership with a range of agenciesnMinimum of two years experience of working with children 0-5 and their families in home visiting and group settingsnExcellent communication skills, report writing, assessment skills and record keeping and IT skillsnAble to maintain confidentiality.
