The successful Internal Sales Team Leader will manage and lead a team of internal sales representatives, providing guidance, coaching, and support to maximize performance and productivity.
Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback, conducting performance evaluations and setting performance goals.
Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop effective sales campaigns and promotional activities.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including cross-selling and upselling to existing clients.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
Analyse sales data and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Keep up to date with industry trends and market conditions to effectively position our products and services.
Provide regular reports to the board on team performance, sales forecasts, and market insights.
To be successful in this role of Internal Sales Team Leader we would love to speak to anyone who has experience of:
Proven experience as a sales team leader or in a similar leadership role within a sales environment.
Strong sales acumen and a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve success.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Solid understanding of sales processes and techniques, with the ability to implement and improve sales strategies.
