Position Overview:nWe are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Credit Analyst with over 5 years of experience to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in conducting in-depth credit analysis, developing investment recommendations, and monitoring credit portfolios across various strategies. Key Responsibilities:nCredit Analysis and Research:nConduct thorough fundamental credit analysis on a wide range of corporate issuers across various industries.nAssess creditworthiness by analyzing financial statements, industry conditions, competitive positioning, and management quality.nDevelop detailed financial models to project cash flows, liquidity, and other key credit metrics.nInvestment Recommendations:nGenerate investment ideas and provide actionable recommendations to portfolio managers.nPrepare comprehensive investment memos and present findings to the investment committee.nContinuously monitor existing investments and recommend adjustments based on changing credit conditions.nMarket Monitoring:nStay abreast of market developments, industry trends, and regulatory changes affecting the credit markets.nTrack and analyze credit spreads, yield curves, and other relevant market indicators.nProvide regular updates and insights to the investment team.nCollaboration and Communication:nWork closely with portfolio managers, traders, and other analysts to ensure cohesive investment strategies.nParticipate in team meetings, contributing to the overall investment strategy and risk management.nCommunicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including investors and company management.nRisk Management:nIdentify and evaluate credit risks associated with potential and existing investments.nImplement risk mitigation strategies and monitor credit exposure within the portfolio.nEnsure adherence to the firm's risk management policies and procedures.

Qualifications:nExperience:

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in credit analysis, preferably within a hedge fund, asset management firm, or investment bank.nEducation:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or CFA designation is a plus.nSkills:nStrong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.nDeep understanding of corporate finance, capital structures, and fixed income markets.nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.nProficiency in Bloomberg, Excel, and other financial software and databases.nAttributes:nSelf-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.nStrong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.nDemonstrated ability to generate investment ideas and deliver superior investment performance.
