The successful candidate will be friendly, personable, and passionate about all thing’s food and drink. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone seeking to join our Management Team for the summer and possible more.
 Seeking a Venue Manager (or Events Manager) for a fixed term contract (running until October, with the possibility of joining permanantly).
 
The Project:
Fabulous opportunity for a Venue / Events Manager to help us run our first outdoor venture on the river outside of Battersea Power Station.
Arcade X - Our new outdoor destination, with awesome global streetfood and bespoke drinks.
The Position
As Venue Manager, you will be a hands-on, proactive and enthusiastic leader, injecting your personality into your work and inspiring the team to deliver a warm and memorable guest experience. You will continually commit to the highest standards of service and operations, and working closely with the senior management team, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the ongoing summer event, managing the guest experience.
As Venue Manager, you will be responsible for:
Overseeing a large very busy and fun summer event with 4 food outlets and Bars
Welcoming and attending to guests with an exceptional level of care and service, ensuring that they leave with a positive and memorable experience;
Inspiring, motivating and training waiting staff to deliver the highest levels of service;
Carrying out all opening and closing procedures.
The successful Venue Manager will have:
Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager with an events background
Warm and welcoming persona, along with a hands-on approach to work and impeccable attention to detail;
Proven ability to lead, train and inspire a team;
Passion for hospitality and a good knowledge of food and beverage;
Eagerness to learn and develop your career within an award-winning restaurant group.
