As the cyber threat landscape continues to evolve, Saepio is growing rapidly to meet the increasing demand for top-notch cybersecurity solutions. To support our growth, we are recruiting a Finance Director to join our Finance Team.


What will you be doing?

As a Finance Director at Saepio, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the financial operations. Reporting directly to the lender and private equity backers, you will be responsible for ensuring the financial health and integrity of Saepio. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in IT services, adept at handling departmental lines, and possess a solid understanding of reporting requirements within a private equity-backed environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Be a key member of the management team and oversee all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, to ensure alignment with Saepio’s goals and objectives.

  • Manage and lead the finance team, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental targets and objectives.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to optimise Saepio’s financial performance and maximise profitability.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, to stakeholders, lenders, and private equity backers.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and reporting standards, including GAAP and relevant industry regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, providing insights to support decision-making.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, lenders, and private equity stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and adherence to contractual agreements.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes, recommending adjustments to financial strategies and policies as needed.
  • Stay updated on operational knowledge to enable critical review and challenge of key decisions and information.



Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for an organised and personable individual with:

Extensive experience in a finance leadership role within the IT services industry.

  • Fully qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) designation is essential.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing financial operations in a private equity-backed environment.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting requirements and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
