What does the role of Workshop Supervisor involve?
- Accounting for and managing Technicians time when working on jobs.
- Ensuring Job Card write up compliance with regards to OEM Warranty Procedures.
- Managing and improving workshop Productivity and Efficiency by allocating the correct jobs to the correctly skilled technician
- Identifying Technician Training Needs.
What do you need to succeed as a Workshop Supervisor?
- Proven experience within a service department in the motor industry
- An excellent understanding of systems and processes operated to within this environment
- A strong knowledge of Health and Safety
- Confident with dealing with people at all levels, be able to build an immediate rapport
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Comfortable in negotiating and influencing situations
- Lead by example to deliver an outstanding customer experience every time
