Enfield, Co Meath.


Disability Support worker – 12 hour block calls, Full or Part-time contracted roles
Some weekend availability is required for this role once a month

*Full Licence and over 25 as driving client’s car is required*
We are looking for someone who is passionate about working within a team supporting individuals with an Acquired brain injury.
The ability to be energetic, resilient, to communicate effectively and to utilise a variety of communication tools is essential.
An important part of the staff role is to support our service users who have complex needs and help to manage their day to day requirements. The support will be required in and out of the home e.g. attend concerts and social events, weekly shopping. Supporting the client in their day-to-day activities.

Our committed staff members assist individuals in acquiring and enhancing their independence skills. This includes helping with various tasks like shopping, cleaning, personal care, accessing the community, budgeting, and medication management. We believe that each staff member brings their unique qualities to the role, and we encourage them to infuse humour, creativity, and a sense of fun into their support for our service users' daily lives.

The ideal candidate:
  • Be Level 5 fully qualified in a healthcare discipline, desirable
  • Disability care experience 1 year, desirable
  • Prior experience in healthcare or relevant certifications, desirable
  • Have a genuine passion for caring for those with complex needs
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful connections
  • A creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and bring fresh ideas to the table.

Requirements:
  • Over 25 years of age
  • Full EU Driving Licence as driving client’s car is required
  • Must have right to work in Ireland (no sponsorship offered or this role)
