As an Behaviour Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing support to students with SEMH needs in Newham. This role offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students and contribute to their academic and personal development.
Behaviour Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:
As Behaviour Teaching Assistant in this outstanding school in Newham, you will:
Provide tailored support to students with SEMH needs, implementing strategies to manage behaviour and promote emotional well-being.
Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to develop and implement personalized support plans.
Support students in accessing the curriculum and participating in classroom activities, promoting their independence and confidence.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and behaviour, communicating effectively with parents and colleagues.

Behaviour Teaching Assistant Requirements:
Must be experienced with SEMH
Seeking someone who is proactive , resilient , can uphold high standards of school and get the best out of the pupils 
The successful candidate will be able to put the needs of the children at the forefront of what they do , taking into consideration individual special educational needs 
Strong understanding of SEMH, safeguarding, and child protection practices.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
