The purpose of the Assistant Finance Manager is to understand the business/industry to become Finance Manager and take ownership/responsibility of their own business units.
* Preparing monthly management accounts.
* Bank reconciliations.
* Purchase ledger reconciliation / payment runs.
* Review of and management of the payroll – review of hours to send to outsourced payroll provided – process payroll payment run.
* Weekly KPI’s – revenue and payroll costs.
* Communication with home managers and admins driving commercial decisions to increase/maintain profitability.
* Help with the consolidation of management accounts.
* Monthly reconciliation of Intercompany positions.
* Ad hoc projects.
* Dealing directly with external 3rd parties.
* Review and analysis of Management company overheads.
* Budget preparation.
* Production of cashflow projection.
* Attention to detail is a must.
* Being able to work to tight deadlines.
This search is not limited to any industry. Previous experience is essential.
* Attention to detail/accuracy is essential.
* The ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines is required.
* You must be computer literate with working knowledge of Excel
