My client is seeking a skilled and experienced Mobile HGV Technician to join their team. This role involves providing on-site maintenance and repair services to commercial vehicles across the Cambridge, Hertfordshire, and Bedfordshire regions. The successful candidate will be equipped with a company van, fuel card, mobile device, tablet, and diagnostic tools to efficiently carry out their duties.
Key Responsibilities
Conducting routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on HGV vehicles.
Diagnosing and rectifying vehicle faults using advanced diagnostic equipment.
Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Providing excellent customer service to clients.
Maintaining accurate records of work carried out.
Effective time management and prioritisation of tasks.
Required Skills and Experience
Proven experience as an HGV technician.
In-depth knowledge of HGV mechanics, electrical systems, and diagnostics.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent time management and organisational abilities.
Valid HGV driving license.
Possession of relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance).
