My client is seeking a skilled and experienced Mobile HGV Technician to join their team. This role involves providing on-site maintenance and repair services to commercial vehicles across the Cambridge, Hertfordshire, and Bedfordshire regions. The successful candidate will be equipped with a company van, fuel card, mobile device, tablet, and diagnostic tools to efficiently carry out their duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on HGV vehicles.
  • Diagnosing and rectifying vehicle faults using advanced diagnostic equipment.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Providing excellent customer service to clients.
  • Maintaining accurate records of work carried out.
  • Effective time management and prioritisation of tasks.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Proven experience as an HGV technician.
  • In-depth knowledge of HGV mechanics, electrical systems, and diagnostics.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent time management and organisational abilities.
  • Valid HGV driving license.
  • Possession of relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance).
