Position : Senior Quantity SurveyornProject Location(s) : Essex, Hertfordshire & East London

Core Responsibilities:

Contribute to creating a consistently safe working environment.nApply required governance and prepare subcontract documentation, including negotiating terms, conditions, prices, and schedules.nManage subcontract work packages, including interim assessments of amounts due and subsequent change management.nIssue all necessary commercial notices to both clients and subcontractors as per contract requirements.nCollaborate with operational and engineering staff to ensure site records meet required standards. Generate detailed monthly reports and Cost Value Reconciliations (CVR) as required by the business unit or project.nIdentify and manage risks and opportunities to achieve improved margin positions.nDevelop and manage customer and stakeholder relationships to secure repeat business opportunities and tenders.nInterpret and critically evaluate expenditure reports generated by internal cost systems.nAttend progress and risk reduction meetings with clients and subcontractors.nFoster a positive working relationship with senior leadership, peers, and teams to develop and implement initiatives and change management protocols.nProvide contractual expertise to assist estimating and bid teams.nManage teams and support the development of all commercial staff to ensure they achieve their potential and maintain their wellbeing.
