Main areas of work our client focusses on are groundworks/civils, utilities and Scottish water projects. Projects generally range in value from £25K - £2M, however our client is currently pricing projects worth up to £7m.
There is clear pathway for career progression with the aim for the successful candidate to build their own commercial team over the next couple of years due to continued company growth.
As quantity surveyor you will reporting directly in to the Managing Director and will be responsible for;
• Measurement, pricing and evaluation of tenders
• Take responsibility of projects from inception to completion
• Identify areas to improve margin
• Cost management
• Forecasting Management and administration of sub-contractor accounts
• Producing and submitting applications for payment
This is a full time role based in our client’s head office based in North Lanarkshire. Working hours are 9am-5pm Mon – Fri.
Salary will be £45K-£50K + company car/car allowance + benefit scheme.
To be considered for this role the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience of working in a Quantity Surveyor role, ideally with experience of working in civil engineering. You will require a relevant qualification (HNC, HND or degree)
