Position: Junior Fabric Technician
As a Junior Fabric Technician, you will play a vital role in assisting our fabric maintenance team with various tasks related to building upkeep and repair. This entry-level position is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to learn and grow in the facilities management industry.
Responsibilities:
Assisting senior fabric technicians with planned maintenance tasks, such as painting, decorating, and minor repairs.
Supporting in the inspection and assessment of building fabric conditions, identifying areas that require attention.
Learning and applying proper techniques for fabric maintenance, including surface preparation, plastering, and carpentry work.
Assisting with the installation and maintenance of fixtures and fittings.
Responding to ad-hoc maintenance requests and ensuring timely resolution of issues.
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and reporting them to the supervisor.
Requirements:
A genuine interest in fabric maintenance and building repairs.
No prior experience required; we are looking for candidates willing to learn and grow in the role.
Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is a plus.
Enthusiastic and willing to take on new challenges.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Full UK driving license is preferred but not mandatory.
