Are you a dynamic Senior National Account Manager ready to drive exceptional growth in the convenience retail sector?


My client is a turbo charged, globally recognised, privately owned BWS company with a rich history spanning back in time. It’s renowned for it’s diverse portfolio of high quality alcoholic brands covering a number of categories. The UK arm of the business has a turnover of c £80m and has shown impressive double digit growth over the past 4 years.


The business is now seeking an experienced Senior National Account Manager to spearhead the expansion of their premium portfolio across the Convenience channel. This confidential opportunity is ideal for individuals passionate about account management and strategic growth within the alcohol or FMCG industries.


The Role:

You will lead national account strategies to maximise sales, working with major convenience retailers (think Grocery Convenience, Nisa, Co-Op, Spar).


Key Responsibilities :

  • Account Management : Build relationships with key stakeholders, negotiate trading terms, and enhance product positioning.
  • Sales Growth : Develop strategies to secure new listings, expand product ranges, and capitalise on market trends.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration : Partner with marketing, supply chain, and category teams to ensure alignment and operational success.


Your Profile:

They are searching for an innovative leader with a proven track record in national account management across the FMCG food/drinks/BWS space


  • Experience : 4-10+ years in the alcohol, beverage, or FMCG sector, managing top grocers or convenience accounts.
  • Skills : Strong commercial acumen, negotiation expertise, and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
  • Attributes : Self-motivated, results-driven, and skilled in building long-term relationships.
