About the QA Officer job
Reporting to the Technical Manager, the Quality Assurance Officer plays an essential role in ensuring that our clients products meet the highest standards. The successful candidate will maintain site GMP, hygiene, quality, and food safety systems and specifications. Actively contribute to resolving quality issues and driving continuous improvement.
Key tasks
* To ensure front line maintenance of site GMP, hygiene, quality and food safety systems and specifications providing technical support to staff and line management.
* Take responsibility of decision making on food safety, quality, and compliance to ensure the consumer receives a quality product.
* Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inspections/ audits/checks i.e Undertake Internal Audits, and ensure corrective actions are taken to prevent reoccurrence.
* Ensure quality attribute tests/taste panels are completed as required by testing schedules and in compliance with in-house specifications and QAS.
About You
You will possess good experience of working in a quality control / assurance role in food manufacturing and looking to join an innovative business.
* You will ideally have a sound understanding of health & safety, BRC and HACCP (or HACCP trained).
* You will also possess excellent team working and communication skills.
* Will also consider graduates with a science-based degree such as Food Science.

The QA Officer job is based in Kent and is paying £26,000 according to your experience.
The working hours are late shifts - 1:30pm – 10:00pm.
