On successful appointment you will undertake routine maintenance and perform fault finding and repairs on all aspects of electrical equipment. Perform the installation and commissioning of plant modifications and improvement projects both on-line and during turnarounds and events so that plant-on-line availability is maintained, defects resolved, and routines are completed on-time.

ResponsibilitiesnEHSQnEnsure all maintenance tasks are carried out in accordance with company and statutory, environmental, health and safety standards including compliance with PPE requirements, permits and isolation procedures, the use of Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and pre-job hazard checks for all tasks.
Maintenance ExecutionnInstalling, inspecting, and testing all types of electrical equipment. Common tasks include installing cable containment, wiring up electrical equipment, terminals, and switches as per the wiring diagrams and conducting functional tests on installations to check they work correctly.nPerform routine maintenance on control and power distribution panels and electrical systems and carry out repairs and reactive maintenance in the event of breakdowns, faults, and malfunctions.nPerform diagnostic tests to identify the location of faults and replace any damaged components.nPerform isolations, de-isolations at LV and HV (on single-ended drives).nRaising, releasing, and completing Work Orders and updating databases as required.nRaising requests for materials for the routine execution of work.nInspection and record keeping or updating as part of a preventive maintenance programme.nTo assist in the upkeep of plant drawings and documentation by reporting errors to supervision.nTo participate in training in order to enhance skills to enable you to meet the company’s competency requirements.nReviewing and helping in the upkeep of Technical Data and manuals.nBe willing to work outside of normal hours on a planned or call-in basis to meet the needs of the business.
Turnarounds and EventsnCarry out turnaround maintenance tasks safely, on-schedule, and according to the work packs, company standards and good practice.nAs required, and when selected, execute tasks associated with the shutdown Tech Team.
Essential RequirementsnExperiencenAn integral aspect of the electrician is the ability to locate and identify faults in a timely manner to restore plant and equipment to acceptable conditions.
Skills and CompetenciesnKnowledge and understanding of legislative requirements in a COMAH top tier site and a detailed understanding of how CF complies with these through site procedures, rules, and expectations.nComprehensive understanding of electrical safety risks and a familiarity with the relevant safety standards and regulations.nCompetent Person ‘A’ status under FW66.nPartially authorised person under the CF HV Rules.nHave experience using a computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS).nProficient user of MS office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.) and must have well-developed written and oral communication skills.
