We require a Service Manager to manage Childrens placement/brokerage team and to support managers in other services where there is staff sickness 
Job role/responsibilities:
An Interim Service Manager is required to manage, support and supervise theChildren's Placements Team comprising one Team Manager and four brokers.
The role of the Team is to find placements for children and young people on an emergency and planned basis. 
The successful applicant will have experience of managing this area of work and understand the pressure that comes with the role, which will require staying on after 5pm when a same day search commenced during office hours is needed.
The successful applicant will also provide support to other teams under the Head of Service portfolio in the absence of Service Managers which will include Care Leavers Service and Fostering 
Selection criteria questions:
Significant experience of managing Children’s placements service 
Right to work in the UK
Social Work England Registration
Available to start ASAP
